Still no idea if it will pass. If it does it may cause an explosion of interest.

This would be great. I love my Rad bike and this would have helped.
Yea they are fun. I have a modified Yamaha. I am gradually doing some erands on it and just a tiny bit of commuting and slowly thinking about replacing a car with it. Not sure if I can, I may have some big changes come this year not sure yet. I have some stregnth but this thing helps me go up mountains for fun as well. Advantage of an ebike vs a regular bike for commuting and erands is you can maintain a higher speed with less sweat yet still get some exercise.

I have been watching eBike subsidies for a while, and am considering Aventon eBikes for my wife and I.

I suspect if tax credits arrive, eBike prices will go up, so the net benefit will go as much, or more to the manufacturers.

So, we will probably buy regardless of tax credits since it likely won't make a huge difference.

You may be right, that may have happened on our cars as well.
Well they did start wanting me back in the office part time and I did start commuting on ebike so far so good. I have a pannier to put clothing, lunch and my laptop in. We have an indoor bike room and showers at the office. Rather pleasant so far lets me get some exercise, more than sitting in a car anyway. I go about 20 miles.
